Meatless Mondays, By Trystan L. Bass

This is a great article that can be easily passed on to friends, family, or your school lunch program to entice them to make a small but much needed change, to save the planet.

You are brilliant and the earth is hiring - Paul Hawken

YOU ARE BRILLIANT AND THE EARTH IS HIRING

Paul Hawken’s Commencement Address to the Class of 2009, University of Portland, May 3rd, 2009:

“When I was invited to give this speech, I was asked if I could give a simple short talk that was "direct, naked, taut, honest, passionate, lean, shivering, startling, and graceful." No pressure there.

The truth is out on Genetically Modified Foods, and it's not pretty

This article was published on the website www.foodmatters.tv which has produced a wonderful documentary. A bonus is included at the end of this article, a shopping guide showing which foods are likely to be GMOs and which aren't.

A vision of Utopia, by Karen Bishop

"The New World Model"

There is a central theme that all energy revolves around. If we
were to go back to the very beginning of creation, this theme
would be present there as well. Imagine a central hub of
energy called creation. From out of this creation hub come
various off-shoots or legs of energy. These legs are all still
connected to the hub as they share, and will always share, the
vibration of the central hub. But each leg also has its own
unique energy as well, as it has left the hub and is now
vibrating a bit differently.

Raw food - Thai Coleslaw

Raw foods have been an integral part of my healing journey for many years. Switching to a raw lifestyle has enabled me to heal my body of several "incurable" ailments, as well as helping me stabilize at a healthy weight.

When reading Anastasia's books, last year, I was very pleased to see that she is also advocating a live raw food instinctual diet, "eating as you breathe" by going into your garden and eating whatever attracts you at the time, without processing or cooking.

Anastasia Inspired communities

I received a phone call yesterday from a delightful woman from British Columbia, who had been looking to join or establish a Kin's Domain Village in Canada. Problem is, she couldn't find us on the web because the search engines didn't show our sites. She got in contact with the community in California/Oregon (Shambhala Shasta) and they told her about us. She and her husband actually considered moving down to the States to join such a eco-settlement.

Magical healing trees, by Alisa Alonso

Argonne Illinois has been a contaminated site for decades due to early atomic energy line experimenting by the Argonne National Laboratory. Solid wastes from their experiments have been sealed off in a landfill, but certain liquids (such as chlorinated solvents) still taint the water that runs underneath. Scientists have built - rather, planted - an experimental facility over the grounds in an attempt to remove contamination.

Transitioning to sustainability

As we are moving towards turning our dream into reality, and are actively looking for the land, it is time to re-evaluate our lifestyle. As a reader of the book series, you may think that the lifestyle described in the Kin's Domain settlements is just a bit too outside your current lifestyle, or that transitioning would be too hard, especially if you have children or a spouse who do not -yet-espouse your views. The answer is to make gradual changes. Start looking at the different areas of your life, where change can be implemented seamlessly:
